SBX Chain Box is a smart chain lubrication system that analyzes your motorcycle's movement, lean angle, temperature and humidity, road conditions and ride duration to apply oil to the chain in a controlled way.
Highlighted Features
The device evaluates motion, road conditions, temperature, humidity, lean angle and ride duration together to apply variable lubrication intervals. It builds a working pattern suited to riding conditions without the user having to keep switching modes.
By tracking the motorcycle's movement and vibration data, it analyzes the differences between smooth asphalt, rough roads and intense riding conditions. The lubrication pattern adapts to the detected riding intensity.
Ambient temperature and humidity are tracked. The system analyzes rainy or high-humidity riding conditions and automatically applies the required lubrication pattern.
The web interface can display the motorcycle's live right and left lean angles. The system also shows the maximum right and maximum left lean angles recorded during the ride.
When the motorcycle's lean angle exceeds 28 degrees, chain lubrication is temporarily stopped. Once the motorcycle returns to a safe angle range, the system resumes operation right where it left off. The lubrication counter and running time are never reset.
No unnecessary lubrication happens while the motorcycle is stationary. At traffic lights, brief stops and while idling, the lubrication process is put on hold. Once the motorcycle moves again, the system continues operating from where it stopped.
Using the slider in the web interface, the user can change the standard lubrication amount from -50% to +50%. This allows personal adjustment for different oil viscosities, motorcycle use and riding conditions.
After every lubrication cycle, the system applies a controlled retraction. This balances the pressure inside the hose and reduces the oil leakage that can occur after the motorcycle is turned off.
Working Modes
Smart Adaptive
The system continuously analyzes riding and environmental conditions. Instead of a fixed mode, it applies variable lubrication intervals based on need. This is the recommended main mode for daily use.
Road
Applies a balanced lubrication pattern for normal city and asphalt riding.
Rain
Applies a more frequent lubrication pattern for high-humidity and rainy riding conditions. When Smart Adaptive is used, the system can determine this need automatically from temperature and humidity data.
Off-road
Applies a lubrication pattern suited to the intensity the chain is exposed to on dirt, rough roads and demanding terrain.
Race
Offers more frequent lubrication intervals for high-tempo, intense riding conditions.
Manual Fill
Advances oil from the tank section to the chain application tip — used during first installation or when the hose has run empty.
Web Interface
SBX Chain Box creates its own local Wi-Fi network. When a phone connects to it, the control interface opens automatically, working with both iPhone and Android browsers. Information that can be displayed:

Motorcycle Compatibility
SBX Chain Box is designed for use with motorcycles that have a 12 V electrical system and chain drive. The main system is identical across all motorcycles; the adapter that applies oil to the chain varies by motorcycle brand and model.

Warranty

For warranty shipments, both the inbound and return shipping costs are covered by SBX MotoTech.

- Damage resulting from physical or software modifications made by the user
Opening the product's housing does not, by itself, void the warranty — but if the intervention is found to have caused the fault or damage, that fault is considered outside the warranty. Damage caused by incorrect installation ends warranty coverage. After the warranty period ends, paid technical support, product replacement and spare part support may be offered.
Returns and Right of Withdrawal
Standard legal right-of-withdrawal and return conditions for distance sales apply. Returned products must be complete, undamaged and in resalable condition.
